So can anyone give me a good list of alkaline foods to eat?
I have been looking more and more into the work of dr sebi. It is very hard to find reviews by people who have tried his electric foods diet. Also does anybody have good information on this diet as i cant find much only a small list of foods.
I know he also uses herbs but i live in ireland and cannot get access to them, is there any alternative herbs i could find in a health shop that may substitute well?
Also when i look up alkaline diets on the internet every list i find of alkaline foods seems to be different which makes me wonder about the basis of all this. Im really interested in looking more into all of this any help would be hugely appreciated, thanks
Also for people who are going to tell me just don’t eat garbage bla bla its not a weight loss diet its a lifestyle change, i am already a vegetarian and this is a strict vegetarian diet its nothing to do with cutting out fast food ect its a totally different thing altogether, i really just want to learn more about the work of dr Sebi.

I’ve read in one article that in order to have a greater possibility of conceiving a baby boy, a woman should monitor her pH for levels of acidity and alkalinity. Woman who wants to conceive a boy should have higher alkaline within 5 days of fertility. Can you give me a list of better foods (not supplement) that can increase my alkalinity. Thanks in advance.
Could someone provide me with an alkaline food list?
Question: I am hosting a family for dinner who lives by the high alkaline food diet due to a family member having Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). They tell me that high alkaline foods are beneficial to ailing kidney and livers. I am hoping to be accommodating to their needs. Could someone help me by providing an alkaline food list? I can come up with recipes if I have an idea of what foods I have to work with. Thanks.

I have a list of foods that will help me do that, and a list of foods to avoid, as they would increase the acidity of my urine.
However, most of the foods that I should be eating are fruits and vegetables. Most dairy products (except milk) and meat are forbidden, as are pasta, rice, grains, legumes, refined sugar, etc….
How am I supposed to survive on this? I know that consuming baking soda and calcium/magnesium will make my urine more alkaline; does this mean that I could eat some bread or turkey and then take some Tums to sort of cancel out the acidity of the other foods? Or do I have to strictly avoid acid-forming foods all together? I love fruits and vegetables, but in order to sustain myself on them, I have to eat them pretty frequently (but since I cannot eat while I’m working, and I have a 5+ hour shift tonight I can’t do that). I hate tofu, so that’s not an option…
Has anyone been successful in sustaining themselves on an alkaline-forming diet and would be willing to share some secrets as to how to do so?
Obviously the pH of water is a neutral 7 and lemons are acidic so I would imagine that water with fresh squeezed lemon in it would be mildly acidic, but everywhere I read says that lemon water is alkaline. Is this true or are they wrong?

Trevor I think you are completely over thinking this. On that link there are both lemons and limes listed as alkaline fruits, and that is why I was confused, because I have always known that lemons and limes (the fruits) are acidic. This was not meant to be a confusing question and obviously you misread it and/or over thought it.

Why are lists of acidic/alkalizing foods different? ie one list shows almond milk acidic, another its alk? I am trying to find an accurate detailed list – but every time I find a new list to consult, it differs from one I’ve found before. i.e. – one list shows almond milk as being acidic, the next I find lists it as alkalizing. One list will show all animal protein sources as acidic, another list shows eggs and chicken as alkaline. One shows only lemons/limes/grapefruits as alkaline fruits, another shows bananas, apples and berries too. This is so frustrating. How do I know which one is accurate?
Food listed as alkaline enriched can also be seen as an acidic in another places. Example: I saw blueberry as an acidic and in another page it mentioned it as an alkaline food.
