Hi! My name is Caimey… I am in the eighth grade and I need some urgent help on my science project, like NOW! Haha, so I hope you can help. For this project, we have to create a pH scale (0-14) and list three examples of each. So, I have gone through and researched this. I know that you are thinking this is a really easy project, and I know it is. Although, I did get stumped on like three or four of the examples though, so can you help me, please? Best answer gets ten points. Thanks! Here is what I have…
pH Scale:
Acids:
0 – HCI, Battery Acid, & Strong Hydrochloric Acid.
1 – Stomach Acid, Sulfuric Acid, & ?
2 – Lemon Juice, Vinegar, & Gastric Acid.
3 – Grapefruit, Orange Juice, & Soft Drinks.
4 – Tomato Juice, Beer, & Acid Rainwater.
5 – Bananas, Black Coffee, & Soft Drinking Water.
6 – Milk, Urine, & Saliva.
Nuetral:
7 – "Pure" Water
Bases:
8 – Egg Whites, Blood, & Seawater.
9 – Toothpaste, Baking Soda, & Olive Oil.
10 – Tums, Milk of Magnesium, & Salt.
11 – Household Ammonia, ?, & ?
12 – Mineral Lime, Soapy Water, & ?
13 – Drano, Bleach, & Oven Cleaner.
14 – NaOH, ?, & ?
So, basically here is what I need. I need one example for the pH of 1, two examples for the pH of 11, one example for the pH of 12, and lastly . . . two examples for the pH of 14. Thank you so much, I hope that you can help me out. Also, please look at what I already have listed above, because this will benefit both of us. You will not waste your time, and I will not receive duplicates. Thanks once more!
